2005 Week 16 Report

Congratulations to the 2005 Super Bowl champions: P.O.B.'s Pounders !      Super Bowl Final Score:    P.O.B.'s Pounders 96, Receiver U. 78    We have a new champion! Amazingly, the Pounders were able to knock off the two-time defending champs, Receiver U., by playing a bunch of scrubs and waiver wire rejects during the Super Bowl. Scoring 96 points during Week 16 is quite respectable, especially when your star player - RB LaDanian Tomlinson - managed only 7 points. For Receiver U., it was a very strange week. They managed to post 41 running back points, which is an exceptional amount anytime, not to mention during the championship game. However, their four receivers combined for only 12 points.
