2005 Week 11 Report
Just two weeks remain in the regular season before
we start the postseason. As we all know, only six teams qualify for the
playoffs and after Week Eleven there are eight teams still alive for a
playoff berth. The two teams that have been mathematically eliminated are
The Fat Bus and The Running Monks. Although they have already been eliminated,
these two teams can play spoiler down the stretch as they are matched up
against teams who desperately need to beat them. Three teams have already
clinched a playoff berth: Receiver U., P.O.B.'s Pounders, and Who-Dey Delight.
In addition to clinching a spot in the playoffs, Receiver U. has also clinched
the Hair Conference championship.
The playoff picture is rather simple this season.
Before we outline each team's postseason chances, here are the final results
for Week Eleven:

The Fat Bus (2-9)

Receiver U. (9-2)
defeated The Running Monks (3-8),

E-Z Money (4-7)

Things worth mentioning from Week Eleven:
* Who-Dey Delight scored 137 points! Last year
at this time, they posted 140 ponts. Apparently Week Eleven is their week.
* E-Z Money's point production has been impressive.
They are 19 points from the overall points lead and could become the first
team to ever lead the Taunt FFL in scoring and NOT make the playoffs.
* Jo-Boo's Browns Backers were the only team
not to enjoy a high scoring week. Everyone in the league posted a score
in the high 90s or above during Week Eleven except for Jo-Boo who mustered
only 76.
