WEEK FIVE REPORT

In case anyone wasn't sure what the NGL stands for in Kelso's team name 4th and Joey, NGL©, you learned last night. Needing 30 points to surpass the Murph Killers, 4th and Joey put up 46 points, mostly from long bombs to WR Randy Moss, on Monday night to finish with 118 points and the Week Five victory. The other games in our league were not as close as this one was, with the margin of victory in those games being 40, 52, 33, and 42 points.

Here's how this week's games finished:

The Fat Bus rolled all over Scott's "All they Know How To Do Is Score" Savants defeating them by the score of 91-51. The loss was the Savants first of the season, dropping them to 3-1-1 for the year, and in second place in the Hair Conference. With the win, the Bus stands alone in first place in the Lip Conference at 4-1.

Jo-Boo's Browns Backers defeated P.O. Steve 112-60. P.O. Steve had a combined total of 1 point from QB Warren Moon, K Wade Richey, and D/ST SF 49ers. The Browns Backers remain the only undefeated team in the league as they hold onto their lead for most overall points on the year.

Up Your Butt Jo-Boo got their first win of the year over PPP: Gorilla Patch Junkies, 88-51. Now both teams stand at 1-4 in last place in the Hair Conference. They need to make a serious run if they hope to qualify for a wild card spot.

T.T.M.F. Little Johnny defeated Rais'n the Rueff by the score of 80-42. By scoring only 42 points, the Rais'ns fell to 1-4 and are alone at the bottom of the Lip Conference. They also set a '98 record for futility. K Jason Elam, who missed a P.A.T. this week, finished with only 4 points - but he still managed to outscore every active WR on his team!

4th and Joey, NGL© beat the Murph Killers by the score of 118-103. 4th and Joey, NGL© now improves to 2-3 in the Lip Conference. The Murph Killers drop to 3-2 with the loss.
