WEEK ONE REPORT

Welcome to the First Report of the year. Can you say blowout? Because that's exactly what occurred this weekend. Not one contest was reasonably close in scoring, and all of our Week One winners had more than 100 overall points.

Here's a recap of the matchups:

4th and Joey, NGL© defeated PPP: Gorilla Patch Junkies by the score of 127-93. 4th and Joey, NGL© had an incredible scoring output, spread out among all starting players - despite the fact that starting QB Steve McNair played less than half of the game. I think a statement has been made to the other teams early in the year as who is the team to beat. Also, 4th and Joey, NGL© had several bench players that had high Week One scores. That bench may have outscored a few of our lower scoring teams.

Scott's "All they Know How To Do Is Score" Savants defeated P.O. Steve by the score of 105-68. The Savants surprised everyone by starting out strong, while P.O. Steve's performance was quite disappointing. Their 68 total points was the low for Week One.

The Fat Bus defeated T.T.M.F. Little Johnny by the score of 123-82. The Johnny's watched in disbelief as The Fat Bus' Garrison Hearst chugged 96 yards in overtime to record the highest scoring play in F.F.L. history. That run netted The Fat Bus 18 points, and secured a victory over the Ohio State-laden T.T.M.F. Little Johnny squad.

The Murph Killers defeated Rais'n the Rueff by the score of 104-74. Rais'n the Rueff avoided an even bigger blowout by scoring high on Monday Night Football. As for the Murph Killers, they once again started with a high scoring win, showing all the other teams why they finish in 2nd place every year. Similarily, Rueff displayed his knack for making us all chuckle when he started injured WR Derrick Alexander in the first week of the year. As if drafting 7 RBs and only 3 QBs didn't do the trick.

Jo-Boo's Browns Backers defeated Up Your Butt Jo-Boo by the score of 111-89. Despite crying about his team during and after the draft, Murphy's Cleveland-based team started strong and posted a score that could possibly be his highest point output of the season. Up Your Butt Jo-Boo, who is no stranger to early losses, may have pissed off the Kira Doll with his insulting team name. Who is up who's butt now, Jo-Boo?
